Solva’s Approach to Covid-19

Ensuring your safety, our safety and the safety of all retirement homes - their staff and residents is our number one priority.

While protocols and policies surrounding the Covid pandemic are continually being updated, the following remains in place:

> Virtual tours are preferred by residences and suggested by us as an initial way to see a building and to speak with/ask questions of their sales staff. We can very easily arrange a video tour for you and your loved ones, wherever they may be. Once you have narrowed down your search to one or two properties, an in-person tour can be arranged.

> In person tours are limited to two people who must be wearing a mask and who must be screened prior to entry. Tour paths through homes are now altered and you may be able to see, but not enter public areas like the dining room, lounges, chapel, craft rooms etc. You will be able to see the proposed suites/living space that you are interested in.

> If you would like us to accompany you on a tour, we can most certainly still do this, but we will count as one person. You would be unable to bring a family member or friend along too.

> Our services remain the same and we are diligently working to provide you with the best in retirement home search assistance here in Ottawa. We kindly ask that any in-person meeting with family is conducted outside in a socially distanced environment while we all wear a mask. We have in the past also assisted clients by transporting them to and accompanying them on tours. This service is currently suspended until further notice, with our apologies. If you are at the stage of wanting to see accommodations in person but transportation is an issue, please let us know. We will always try and find a solution for you, without you missing out on anything.
